The Laptop has arrived

I ordered a laptop off eBay for $450, its a Sony Vaio VPC-EA2GFX/B

Key Features

  • Blu-ray player
  • Intel Core i5
  • ATI Radeon 5650 1GB
Normally these laptops are over $1000 but once you see the pics you'll understand why i got such a great deal.


My next step is to find a suitable donor case... stay tuned.

    Hi man. This is awesome. I am building my own HTPC since a while now, and i am totally stuck at MOBO and CPU, because normal ones generate a lot of heat, and my case is a custom one, - an old Samsung DVD player.

    So i started to play with the ideea to have laptop parts as HTPC, and fpound your blog. Could be a great source of inspiration. Just need a great used laptop deal :)
